Thanks to a politically-inspired misunderstanding of the “opioid crisis” in America, millions of people are unnecessarily suffering from chronic pain. Sadly, medical boards and other unaccountable government agencies have targeted all physicians who practice pain medicine. Physicians are no longer willing to risk losing their medical licenses, despite the urgent need for rational, responsible, effective treatment of chronic pain sufferers.
What are the facts? Pain patients are not drug abusers, and their lives are being destroyed by a haphazard analysis of the real crisis in America. Good pain management always results in improved quality of life without causing harm to the patient or to society. Is this possible? If so, why has pain medicine been outlawed?
