Nobody could logically argue that the United States of America is now united in name only. In reality, we have become a nation torn apart by a government that has intentionally deceived, confused, angered, and pitted American citizens against one another by all possible means. Such a divided house can hardly thrive in the threatening world arena of globalization and elitist dictatorships.
As we approach the end of 2021, perhaps now is a good time to focus on the price we’ve paid by this division, with the hope of once again restoring the bonds that joined together all Americans as a force for good in the world. We’ll never be perfect, but maybe we are still better when we’re together.
