The assault on America’s churches throughout the pandemic response was a test of the church’s faithfulness to God in trying times. Sadly, the overwhelming majority of churches obediently closed their doors when told to do so by a malicious government, despite liquor stores and big-chain department stores being afforded the state’s favor and remaining open. In short, the church failed to obey God and chose rather to obey man. The intended result was that Christianity suffered, and it did.
As the American way is caving to the ever-increasing demands of a pluralistic, dystopian society that commands obedience to the golden cow of globalism, what duty has the Christian church in fighting this battle between good and evil? The time is here for the church to clarify its role in a wicked society. We either choose to serve God and live freely or condemn ourselves to the torments of a godless society.
